IS: The captain of the Pelicans found a new team in the League!

Last season, the defender Casimir Jürgens, who served as the captain of Pelicans, has found a new team in the Liiga. According to Ilta-Sanomat, Jürgens will move to Ässät for the next season.
Jürgens, 31, played 50 regular season games for Pelicans last season, recording 1+6 points with a chilling -25 plus/minus rating. In the playoffs, he registered 0+2 points in eight games.
In the Liiga, Jürgens has also previously represented Tappara and TPS. Throughout his Liiga career, he has played a total of 397 regular season games (29+76=105) and 61 playoff games (5+16=21). Jürgens won two Finnish championships with Tappara in 2022 and 2023.
Jürgens has also played for the Lions in EHT matches during the 2017-19 seasons.
