Forward Anrei Hakulinen will continue his career next season with HPK. Iltalehti reporter Timo Kunnari mentions in the Lätkäpodi podcast that Hakulinen is close to signing a new contract with HPK.

Hakulinen, 36, joined HPK this season. He was only able to start his season in January due to an injury.

In the regular season, Hakulinen played only 20 games, but still recorded strong stats of 3+10=13. In the playoffs, he has scored 1+3 in four games.

In the league, Hakulinen has previously represented Pelicans, KooKoo, and Lukko. He won the Finnish championship with Lukko in the spring of 2021.

In the previous two seasons, Hakulinen played in Germany for the Augsburg Panthers.
