Highly paid NHL star traded!

Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras is traded to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Sportsnet‘s insider reporter Elliotte Friedman reports that in the trade, the Flyers will receive forward Ryan Poehling, a 2nd round pick (45th overall; 2025), and a 4th round pick (2026).
The trade of the 24-year-old Zegras has been a long-standing question in the NHL. The highly skilled American has represented the Ducks for all five seasons of his NHL career. He was the 9th overall pick by the Ducks in the 2019 draft.
Last season, Zegras scored 12 goals and 32 points in 57 regular-season games. His contract, worth $5.75 million, expires in the summer of 2026.
