Golden Lion: departure papers in the NHL!
The New Jersey Devils have placed Finnish forward Juho Lammikko on waivers.
Other NHL teams have the opportunity to claim Lammikko until Saturday evening Finnish time. If this does not happen, Lammikko’s season will continue in the minors.
Lammikko, who has won two world championships with the Lions, 29, has played 22 games for the Devils this season with stats of 0+2. His NHL contract runs through the end of this season.
Lammikko has been rumored to be returning to Switzerland next season, where he played the last three seasons.
The Devils have also placed defenseman Colton White on waivers.
