Girls’ World Championship has a crushing victory! Hungarian goalkeepers with 60 saves
Canada hosted quite a blowout in the girls’ World Championship. Canada crushed Hungary with a score of 14-0.
The Hungarian goalkeepers had their work cut out for them. Canada’s young players fired an impressive 74 shots on goal. Zoe Takacz recorded 33 saves and Czenge Csordas had 27 saves. Canada’s goalkeeper Rowan Houweling made 11 saves.
As many as three players from the Canadian team recorded four points each: Hayley McDonald (3+1), Megan Mossey (2+2), and Sofia Ismael (1+3).
The Girl Lions’ games continue on Tuesday evening with a match against the United States. The match starts at 19:30 and can be watched for free on TV5.
