The NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced on X that they have fined Florida Panthers’ Finnish forward Eetu Luostarinen.

The 27-year-old Luostarinen received a $5,000 fine for a high stick that hit Pittsburgh Penguins’ Rickard Rakell.

The amount is the maximum penalty under the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Luostarinen has played 68 games this season with stats of 9+18=27. The two-time Stanley Cup champion was one of the trusted forwards for the Lions at the Milan Olympics.
