The Seattle Kraken have assigned Finnish forward Jani Nyman to the AHL’s Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Nyman, 21, has been part of the NHL roster for the entire early season. He has played 24 games with a scoring line of 4+2 and has averaged just under 11 minutes of ice time per game. Nyman has missed some games due to the team’s lineup decisions.
Last season, Nyman played 12 games in the NHL with a scoring line of 3+3. In the minors, he posted impressive numbers with 28 goals and 16 assists for a total of 44 points in 58 games.
