The President of the USA Donald Trump congratulated his country’s ice hockey team right after they captured their first Olympic gold since 1980.
The American stars defeated Canada in the Sunday final in overtime with a score of 2-1.

Trump was previously rumored to be arriving in Milan himself to watch the final in person. In the end, however, the president was not seen in the stands.
