Defender with over 300 NHL games has been out for the entire season – now a new team has been found

The Canadian defenseman Travis Dermott, 29, who has not played all season, has found a new team.
The AHL team Hartford Wolf Pack announces that they have signed Dermott to a tryout contract. This is the farm team of the New York Rangers.
Dermott last played in April. Last season, he played ten games in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers and nine games with the Minnesota Wild, as well as three games in the AHL with the Bakersfield Condors.
Throughout his NHL career, Dermott has played a total of 348 regular season games (16+46=62) and 22 playoff games (2+3). He has also previously represented the Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and Arizona Coyotes. Dermott was originally the 2nd round pick (#34) of Toronto in 2015.
UPDATE: The Hartford Wolf Pack have signed defenseman Travis Dermott to a professional tryout agreement (PTO).
