The NHL playoff spring has begun. For the Dallas Stars, the playoffs had a harsh start as the Minnesota Wild came to take an away victory with a brutal score of 6-1.

The standout players for Minnesota in the match were Matt Boldy (2+1), Kirill Kaprizov (1+2), and Mats Zuccarello (0+3). Additionally, Joel Eriksson Ek scored two goals for Minnesota and Ryan Hartman one. The only goal for Dallas was scored by Jason Robertson.

For Dallas, Mikko Rantanen had a difficult game. His performance statistics in the match were three steps below zero along with his line mate Wyatt Johnston. Additionally, Rantanen took two penalties during the game.

Miro Heiskanen, who had been sidelined due to injury in recent matches, returned to the lineup for the first playoff game. He assisted on Dallas’s only goal and played nearly 24 minutes. Esa Lindell, on the other hand, played just over 21 minutes.

Roope Hintz was still out of the Dallas lineup.

In other matches, the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Ottawa Senators 2-0, and the Philadelphia Flyers took down the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2. The second games of all three series are scheduled for the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, Finnish time.
