The Dallas Stars are strengthening their roster with an experienced forward. Sportsnet reporter Elliotte Friedman reports that the team has signed a one-year contract with 38-year-old David Perron. The Canadian forward’s contract is worth 850,000 dollars.

Perron has not played anywhere at the beginning of the season. Last season, he represented the Ottawa Senators and the Detroit Red Wings, playing a total of 65 games with a scoring record of 13+15=28.

Perron has already played 19 seasons in the NHL. He has accumulated 1,239 regular season games (332+480=812) and 110 playoff games (26+38=64).

In addition to Ottawa and Detroit, Perron has also represented the St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, and Vegas Golden Knights during his NHL career.

Perron also has a Stanley Cup championship. He was part of the St. Louis Blues team that celebrated the NHL championship in the spring of 2019.
