Dallas Stars have signed a young Finnish forward to their roster in the NHL!
Philadelphia Flyers and Dallas Stars have made a trade in the NHL.
In the trade, Finnish forward Samu Tuomaala moves to Dallas. In exchange, Canadian defenseman Christian Kyrou heads to Philadelphia.
Tuomaala, 22, is the Flyers’ 2nd round pick (#46) from 2021. He has played a total of 120 games in the minors with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, recording 26+49=75 points. This season, Tuomaala has played three games without any points.
Tuomaala’s NHL entry-level contract is valid until the end of this season. He has not yet made his NHL debut. Tuomaala will immediately move to the AHL team Texas Stars.
Kyrou, 22, is the Stars’ 2nd round pick (#50) from the summer of 2022. He is playing his third season in the AHL, where he has recorded a total of 97 games with 12+26=38 points.
