The Dallas Stars and Nashville Predators have made a trade in the NHL. Forward Michael Bunting is moving to Dallas, while Nashville receives a 3rd round draft pick for the upcoming summer draft.

Bunting, 30, represented Nashville for a year. He has recorded 31 points this season in 61 games with 13 goals and 18 assists.

Bunting has played 405 regular season games in his NHL career (108+142=250) and 13 playoff games (2+3). He has also previously represented the Arizona Coyotes, Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Bunting’s contract, which guarantees an annual salary of 4.5 million dollars, runs through the end of this season.
