Dallas Stars’ Finnish playoff series: “We have dominated at times”
The Finnish players of the Dallas Stars commented on the ongoing playoff series against the Minnesota Wild on NHL’s website.
The Wild tied the series 2–2. Mikko Rantanen assisted on both of the Stars’ goals in the 2–3 loss, and both goals came on the power play. More success is needed at even strength.
– We have dominated at times five on five. So I’m not worried about creating chances or anything. There were moments when we could have taken a two or three-goal lead by capitalizing on our opportunities, Rantanen said.
Miro Heiskanen was also not concerned.
– We played well at even strength. The goals just didn’t come. If we continue to play the same way, the goals will come at some point.
Rantanen reminded that the series continues now in Texas.
– We have home advantage now as we head into a best of three series. This team has experienced this situation before, so the setup is quite familiar.
