Dallas’ Finns in Form – Mikko Rantanen at the Top of the League
The Dallas Stars defeated the Utah Mammoth in the NHL with a score of 4-3. Utah led the game by two goals, but Dallas eventually came back to tie and then take the lead.
The Finnish stars of Dallas played a significant role in helping the team to victory. Roope Hintz scored a goal, while Mikko Rantanen and Miro Heiskanen each recorded two assists.
Hintz scored his team’s opening goal on the power play and is now on a four-game goal streak. Hintz has recorded 20 points in 20 games this season with stats of 8+12=20.
Rantanen collected both of his assists on the power play and simultaneously rose to the top of the NHL power play scoring leaderboard with stats of 4+13=17. He surpassed his teammate Wyatt Johnston (10+6=16). Rantanen’s total points after 24 games this season are 10+20=30.
Heiskanen played in his 500th regular season game of his NHL career. He has accumulated a total of 61+244=305 points in his NHL career. In 25 games this season, Heiskanen has recorded 3+19=22 points.
