Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid lost his temper during the NHL round last night when Dallas Stars’ Finnish rookie Arttu Hyry cleared the puck as the buzzer sounded. The shot hit Leon Draisaitl directly, which sent McDavid into a rage.
McDavid tried to attack Hyry, but another rookie player Justin Hryckowian stepped in. The situation escalated into a fight, and ultimately both McDavid and Hryckowian received two-minute penalties for fighting. Draisaitl, on the other hand, received a two-minute penalty for slashing.
Dallas took advantage of the penalties: captain Jamie Benn scored a power-play goal to make it 6-2, and the Stars ultimately won the game with a clear score of 7–2.
