Colorado Avalanche suffered an unfortunate setback in the NHL.
The Colorado Avalanche secured the Central Division and Western Conference title in the NHL by defeating the St. Louis Blues 3-1. The team also faced an unfortunate setback in the game when Nazem Kadri was injured.
Kadri had to leave the game in the second period due to an upper body injury. He injured his hand while blocking a shot early in the second period.
Colorado’s head coach Jared Bednar did not have more information on Kadri’s situation immediately after the game.
Kadri moved to Colorado from the Calgary Flames at the trade deadline a month ago. He has played 15 games for Colorado since the trade, with a total of 4+5 points.
Superstar Cale Makar is still sidelined from Colorado. However, Makar, who has missed the last four games, is expected to return to the lineup before the end of the regular season.
Colorado has five more games left in the regular season. They lead the entire NHL regular season by six points over the Carolina Hurricanes, who have four games remaining.
