Carolina Hurricanes: massive setback
The Carolina Hurricanes have received bad news. The team’s star forward Seth Jarvis has undergone shoulder surgery and will be out for the next 4–6 months.
Jarvis was one of Carolina’s best players in the championship-winning season. In the regular season, he was the team’s top scorer with 32 goals and 34 assists for a total of 66 points in 71 games.
In the playoffs, Jarvis lost his best edge. He ended up with 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points in 19 games.
Carolina’s GM Eric Tulsky stated that Jarvis has been suffering from his shoulder injury since 2023. Now the shoulder has finally been treated.
Tulsky also mentioned that Carolina does not plan to acquire a replacement for Jarvis from outside the organization. The team would rather give an opportunity to one of their young prospects.
