Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand has received a maximum fine of $5,000 from the NHL for unsportsmanlike conduct during Saturday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres.

On Saturday, Marchand pulled quite a ridiculous stunt when he took the helmet of Sabres’ Swedish defenseman Rasmus Dahlin into the penalty box and ripped the strap off in a fit of anger. Prior to this, the two had clashed on the ice.

Marchand received four minutes in penalties for interference and violence. The Sabres won the game 3-0.
