The Lions’ national team has received unfortunate news. Vancouver Canucks’ goaltender Kevin Lankinen will not be going to the World Championships.
Lankinen’s decision is understandable. He has had a long and tough season in Vancouver, which was the NHL’s bottom team.
Lankinen played 47 games this season in goal for Vancouver. His save percentage was 87.5.
Previously, Lankinen won the world championship between the posts for the Lions in 2019.
