Auston Matthews: fierce comeback!

Toronto Maple Leafs’ superstar forward Auston Matthews had to leave Wednesday’s game against the Boston Bruins due to injury.
Matthews was injured midway through the second period from a hit by Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov. The American left the situation for the locker room and was not seen again in the game. Zadorov escaped the situation without a penalty.
The evening was disappointing for the Maple Leafs as the team’s top goalie Anthony Stolarz also got injured in the first period. The Bruins won the game 5-3.
There is still no detailed information on the severity of Matthews’ and Stolarz’s injuries.
