Ässät achieved a top result – huge victories!
The background of the Ässät is influenced by HC Ässät Pori Oy, which achieved an excellent result in the recently concluded financial year. The company made a remarkable profit of over 918,000 euros with a turnover of 9.7 million euros.
At the same time, the club’s equity ratio increased from 26 percent to 55 percent.
– The result is extremely strong and was needed in these times of increasing competition. Huge thanks to the team, our entire organization, and above all, our highly committed club community, commented Ässät’s CEO Sami Hautamäki in the club’s press release.
– The significance of the profit was most influenced by playoff revenues and one-time items such as NHL compensations and the capital return paid by the league. In addition, corporate sales and regular season ticket sales exceeded last season’s targets. We have also made good measures on the cost side, and they will be needed in the future as well, Hautamäki adds.
The player budget for the upcoming season of Ässät is 2.45 million euros.
The league’s “super season” kicks off on September 1.
