Anton Lundell in top form in his comeback game – amazing text from the head coach
Florida Panthers won last night’s NHL game against the Boston Bruins in a shootout with a score of 5-4.
Panthers’ Finnish forward Anton Lundell returned to the lineup after being sidelined for the previous three games due to an upper body injury. In his comeback game, Lundell was in great form, finishing with 1+2 points, and he also scored a goal in the shootout.
Panthers head coach Paul Maurice praised Lundell after the game with strong words.
– He is a special player. He will one day be the captain of this team, Maurice said.
The team has been captained by Aleksander Barkov since 2018, who has been sidelined for the entire season due to injury. Lundell is now representing the team in his fifth season.
Lundell has recorded 39 points in 53 games this season with 16+23. His return to playing condition is great news for the Lions, as the Olympic tournament starts next week.
