Urheilucast: Will Vaasan Sport choose the surprise name Doug Shedden as the successor?

The head coach position at Vaasan Sport has been a turbulent one. Juuso Hahl was let go in early autumn, and he was replaced by the surprising name Doug Shedden, who is unlikely to be coaching the team next season.
According to Urheilucast, discussions are already underway behind the scenes for Shedden’s successor. According to the podcast, the surprising candidate for the position is Tuomo Ropo, 41. Currently, Ropo is serving as the head coach of the Pikkuleijonat.
In his previous career, Ropo also had a five-year stint as an assistant coach at SaiPa. In Mestis, he coached Ketterä for two seasons.
Sport’s season start has fallen short of expectations. After 15 played matches, the team from Vaasa is in 14th place in the league.
