There may be a larger domestic return transfer in the works at Jyväskylä’s JYP, at least if we are to believe the words of Urheilucast. The podcast brought up the idea that the club’s own product Julius Nättinen could return to the JYP jersey in the coming years.

– Julius Nättinen is coming home, returning to JYP within the next two years, Esko Seppänen stated directly.

According to Seppänen, however, the transfer would not be happening just yet, as Nättinen has a contract with Swiss HC Ajoie for next season as well.

– I won’t go into details, but this is the same navigation map as Harri Pesonen had a couple of years ago.

In the background, Seppänen refers to JYP’s previous returns, such as Pesonen and Sami Vatanen, who have returned to the club as part of Jyväskylä’s recent profile acquisitions.

Nättinen played 42 games in Switzerland last season, with stats of 19+14=33. In the JYP jersey, the forward familiar from the Lions rose to a significant role in the 2019–20 season, when he won the club’s goal-scoring title with impressive stats of 33+22=55.
