The league champion continues as a hockey nomad – a new address was found in Poland
Defender Vili Laitinen, 26, who celebrated the championship in 2021 with Lukko, has found a new club in the Polish top league.
Laitinen has signed a contract with Cracovia for the upcoming season. Laitinen already played last season in Poland representing KH Toruń, where the Finn played 26 regular season games with stats of 4+15=19.
Having played in five different countries over the last four years, Laitinen has represented, in addition to Lukko, TPS and Vaasan Sport in the Liiga.
During six Liiga seasons, Laitinen played a total of 148 regular season games and recorded stats of 2+14=16.
Laitinen moved abroad in the spring of 2022, with his path taking him to Pustertal in Italy before Poland, Nybro in Sweden, Odense in Denmark, and Gherdeina in Italy.
