Source: Jukurit is chasing an experienced SHL forward – a lucrative offer on the table!
Mikkelin Jukurit is aiming for a strong reinforcement in their offense ahead of the league’s “super season.” The Swedish site Spelcash claims the Mikkeli club has set its sights on Kim Rosdahl.
The winger has represented Västerås for the past two seasons in HockeyAllsvenskan. The 30-year-old Swede has plenty of experience in the SHL as well, where he has played 359 regular season games in his career.
Last season, Rosdahl played 37 games for Västerås and recorded stats of 7+15=22.
– Jukurit has made it clear that they want Rosdahl for the upcoming season. Negotiations are underway, and the Finnish club has made a financial offer that exceeds Västerås’s corresponding one, Spelcash reports.
– Continuing in Västerås is still an option, but the temptation of a better-paid contract in the league weighs heavily in the decision-making process. Before his injury concerns, Rosdahl was one of Västerås’s most prominent players. He remains an important offensive asset, the site continues.
Rosdahl has previously shown that he can make a significant impact in the SHL as well.
The 190-centimeter and nearly 100-kilogram forward’s most effective SHL season in 2021–22 produced 38 points (18+20) in 52 regular season games for IK Oskarshamn.
