Source: Finnish player signs giant contract with SHL – this is the salary

Robin Salo, 27, is hot property in the SHL. SHL teams Örebro and Malmö have been competing for the Finnish defenseman for next season. The news was reported by Nerikes Allehanda and Expressen.
Currently, Salo represents Malmö Redhawks. The team has offered the Finnish player a contract extension with a net salary of 240,000 euros per year. Örebro offered an even larger sum, which Salo accepted.
Örebro is a familiar team for Salo. He played for the team in the 2020-21 season.
This season, Salo has recorded 10 points (3+7) in 19 games with Malmö. His plus-minus statistic, however, is five points in the negative.
