The SHL club Malmö Redhawks is looking to strengthen its roster through the transfer market. According to the Swedish site Hockeynews, the club is close to a contract with forward Oula Palve, 33, for the remainder of the season.

Malmö has raised funds for new reinforcements through a fundraising campaign aimed at supporters and partners. So far, over one million kronor has been collected, which is approximately 91,000 euros, and this amount is making it possible to acquire Palve.

At the beginning of the season, Palve has been playing in the Swiss top league with Kloten, but his performance has not met expectations. In 15 games, the skilled center has recorded modest stats of 1+4=5.

In his previous career, Palve has played three seasons in the SHL. He has represented Linköping and Brynäs in the neighboring country.
