SaiPa made a splash again – acquired a forward who left another Liiga team
SaiPa announces that it has signed a two-year contract with forward Mikko Perttu.
Perttu, 25, represented JYP for the last four seasons. His contract with the club would have covered the upcoming season, but it was recently terminated.
In the past season, Perttu recorded 16 points in 50 regular season games with 5+11=16. In the league, he has played a total of 135 games with 12+42=54 points.
– Perttu, like Aarne Intonen, is an important piece for our upcoming team. A skilled two-way forward and puck-handling player who still has his best years ahead of him, commented sports director Harri Aho in SaiPa’s announcement.
SaiPa has announced four new signings in the past few days. In addition to Perttu and Intonen, Petrus Palmu and Petr Fridrich have joined SaiPa.
