SaiPa’s 25-year-old forward Otto Kivenmäki has become the center of transfer rumors in Sweden. The Swedish newspaper Expressen reports that several SHL teams are closely monitoring Kivenmäki’s performances.
Kivenmäki was one of SaiPa’s best players in the regular season, recording 11 goals and 46 assists for a total of 57 points in 60 games. The skilled player, who is in his third season with SaiPa, was his team’s second most effective player.
Throughout his entire Liiga career, Kivenmäki has played 403 games with stats of 62 goals and 172 assists for a total of 234 points. He has also represented Pelicans and his youth club Ässät.
Kivenmäki’s contract with SaiPa expires after this season.
