Jokerit star: the team is changing!

Forward Jaakko Heikkinen, who played for Jokers and Kiekko-Espoo last season, continues his career in Denmark.
Denmark’s top league club Esbjerg Energy announced the signing of the 28-year-old Heikkinen on Friday.
Heikkinen played 36 regular season games for Jokers last season, recording 7+20=27 points. The forward was loaned to Kiekko-Espoo during the season, where he scored 1+2 points in 17 Liiga games.
Heikkinen has played a total of 190 games in Mestis, recording 158 points. He won the Mestis championship in consecutive years with Jokers and Kiekko-Espoo.
