The HIFK team for the next season will be strengthened by head coach Olli Jokinen with a very familiar man.
Iltalehti reports that Swedish defender Linus Nässén is moving to HIFK with a contract that covers at least the next season.
The 27-year-old Nässén, who has also been seen in the Swedish national team, has played this season and last season with Timrå IK. Jokinen served as head coach in Timrå last season.
Nässén was already a familiar face to Jokinen from Jukurit, where he played 172 regular season games under the Kuopio coach over three seasons.
This season, Nässén has totaled 10 points (4+6) in 25 games with Timrå.
