HPK star leaves the club – here is the new address

Kristian Vesalainen, 26, who terminated his contract with HPK on Saturday, will continue his career abroad.
The forward, who has played 70 games in the NHL and is known from the national team, is moving to the Czech top league club Sparta Prague. Vesalainen’s contract covers this season and next season.
Vesalainen joined HPK this season from HIFK. The forward’s season has been a terrible disappointment in terms of points, having produced a modest 2+14=16 in 30 games.
Sparta Prague already has two Finnish players, defenders Niko Seppälä and Mikael Seppälä. The latter has only played in five of his team’s regular season games this season due to injury.
