HPK finally shed light on Kristian Vesalainen’s situation

On Friday, Hämeen Sanomat reported that Kristian Vesalainen is leaving HPK. According to the newspaper, the forward is continuing his career in the Czech top league.
On Saturday evening, HPK finally broke the radio silence regarding Vesalainen.
– HPK and Kristian Vesalainen have mutually agreed to terminate their contract, HPK announces.
Vesalainen has not been directly sold. According to the announcement, there will be no clearance sales starting in Hämeenlinna, but rather the team is being strengthened.
– We thank Kristian for his time at HPK and wish him success in the future. We will be taking measures to improve the team’s competitiveness. HPK’s goal this season is to fight for a playoff spot, comments HPK’s CEO Kaj Källarsson.
