Forward Kristian Vesalainen, 26, leaves HPK during the season, reports Hämeen Sanomat. According to the newspaper, Vesalainen is moving to the Czech top league.
Vesalainen’s start to the season at HPK fell short of expectations. He managed to play 30 games for the Hämeenlinna team and collected stats of 2+14=16.
On Friday, Vesalainen disappeared at the last moment from HPK’s lineup. He had been marked in the lineup before the start of the game, but he was not seen on the ice.
Earlier, Urheilucast claimed that Vesalainen is close to a transfer to Jokerit for next season.
