Familiar national team star from the league: exit passes in the NHL!
In the league, the NHL career of Alexandre Texier, who impressed in KalPa’s jersey from 2017 to 2019, has taken a downward turn.
The St. Louis Blues have placed the 26-year-old French forward, representing the team for his second season, on the trade list. If no team picks up Texier, he may face a contract termination instead of a farm assignment.
Texier, who has scored 27+36=63 points in 108 regular season games in the NHL, has also represented the Columbus Blue Jackets in addition to the Blues. The forward signed a two-year contract worth a total of 4.2 million dollars with the Blues in the summer of 2024.
Especially in his latter season with KalPa, where he posted impressive stats (41 points in 55 games), Texier was drafted into the NHL by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second round in the summer of 2017.
