Canada is assembling a powerhouse for the World Championships! Two new NHL reinforcements have dropped again.

The Canadian national team receives significant reinforcements for the spring World Championships, as Evan Bouchard and Darnell Nurse have accepted the invitation. Both defenders play at the club level for the Edmonton Oilers.
Bouchard has emerged in recent years as one of the most effective defenders in the NHL. This season, he played a full 82 games and recorded an impressive 95 points. The World Championships will be Bouchard’s first appearance in adult international competitions.
Nurse is more of a defensive defender, known as one of the most overpaid players in the NHL. He collected 24 points (7+17) and 104 penalty minutes in 82 regular season games. Nurse has previously played in the World Championships twice and won silver once.
