VB: The league team has signed a reinforcement from North America – has played in Finland before
Vaasan Sport is strengthening with Canadian AHL forward. Vasabladet reports that Brett Harrison is moving to Sport’s team.
Harrison, 23, has played in the AHL for the past few years. Last season, he scored 8+9=17 points in 46 games with the Providence Bruins and 2+2 in 12 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
The Boston Bruins selected Harrison in the 3rd round (#85) of the 2021 NHL Draft. Earlier in his career, Harrison also played in the junior league OHL, scoring 167 points in 180 games. He has also won the under-18 World Championship with Team Canada.
Finland is a familiar country for Harrison. He played seven games with 4+5 points in the KOOVEE U20 team during the 2020-21 season. Additionally, he played one Mestis game with the club’s senior team.
