Urheilucast: This is how much Oula Palve earns at Sport – a peculiar arrangement in the contract
Vaasan Sport worked to bring Oula Palve back to the League. The club gathered a large number of sponsors for the acquisition, and on Monday, Palve signed a two-year contract with the team from Vaasa.
The salary structure of the contract is unusual. Urheilucast Esko Seppänen reported on the amounts involved according to his information.
– According to Urheilucast’s information, for this first season, a gross amount of about 120,000 euros will be paid, and for the second season, around 240,000 euros. So the first comes at about half price and the second at full price.
Palve, 34, won the League’s scoring title with Ilves in the 2023–24 season. Since then, he has played two seasons abroad, most recently in Switzerland with EHC Kloten and in Sweden with Djurgården.
Palve will join Sport’s training on Tuesday. His debut in the Vaasa jersey is set for Saturday when Sport faces HIFK at home.
