Tappara is assembling a star-studded team for the next season – or at least the nets have already been cast for several different star names.

Urheilucast’s Esko Seppänen claims in his podcast that Tappara has already made a serious offer this season to the newly risen star of the Danish national team Joachim Blichfeld.

Additionally, according to Seppänen, Tappara is targeting two defenders familiar from the Lions, Oliwer Kaski and Veli-Matti Vittasmäki.

It is unlikely that Tappara has enough resources to acquire the whole trio, but the potential acquisition of Kaski and Vittasmäki is supported by the fact that the head coach moving to Tampere next season, according to media reports, is Kari Jalonen, who is currently coaching the duo at Körner Hai in the DEL league.

Kaski is having quite an effective season in Germany, as the 30-year-old defender has scored 18 points with 6 goals and 12 assists in 26 games. Vittasmäki, 35, who previously won four Finnish championships in a Tappara jersey, has played 27 games this season with 10 points from 2 goals and 8 assists.
