JYP has started its season excellently. One of the biggest factors behind the success has been forward Santeri Huovila, who leads the entire league’s scoring chart with 24 points from 16 games, scoring 3+21.
Urheilucast‘s latest episode, the podcast host Esko Seppänen revealed that JYP is now trying by all means to make a contract extension with Huovila. However, many other Liiga teams are also interested in the services of the 21-year-old forward.
Seppänen also mentioned that for the next season, JYP is trying to acquire Pelicans center Elias Vilén to their ranks. The Lahti team’s top center Vilén has played 15 games this season with a score of 2+7=9.
