Urheilucast: Jukka Jalonen received a real surprise position from Finland!
The head coach position of the Italian national ice hockey team, Jukka Jalonen, who has left, is returning to work in Finland, as reported in the new episode of Urheilucast.
However, this would not be a return to ice hockey, but rather to a completely new role.
According to Esko Seppänen, the host of Urheilucast, Jalonen would be taking over as the new host of the popular Diili program.
– According to Urheilucast’s information, it is not an IFK position. It is not the head coach role of Jokerit, nor is it anything else related to ice hockey. In fact, hold on to the edges of your couch, because Jukka Jalonen is, according to Urheilucast’s information, the host of the highly popular Diili program from now on, Seppänen says.
Jalonen has previously denied returning to coach in Finland, but Seppänen hints that not everything may have been disclosed to the public.
Jalonen is one of Finland’s most successful ice hockey coaches. He has led the Finnish men’s national team to three World Championship golds and an Olympic gold.
According to Urheilucast, an official announcement on the matter is expected on Monday.
