Urheilucast: Ilves is gearing up for a double heist from another Liiga team
Ilves is making two acquisitions from Mikkeli for next season’s Liiga team, claims Urheilucast host Esko Seppänen.
According to Seppänen, Ilves is close to signing two young Jukurit forwards.
– The 19-year-old Topias Hynninen is set to move to Tampereen Ilves after this season, according to UC’s information. Hynninen was also in demand at the kalakukkotorin kupeessa (KalPa), but Ilves won the race for the young talent.
– Staying in Mikkeli: Jukurit’s forward, who has also suffered from injuries, Aleks Haatanen is similarly moving to Tampereen tupsukorviin, Seppänen claims on Urheilucast.
Hynninen is Jukurit’s fifth most effective player this season with 5+9=14 points in 27 games. Haatanen, 25, has played 11 games this season and scored 2+2=4 points in them.
