Harri Pesonen, 37, may return to the Liiga for the 2026–27 season, claims Urheilucast.
The host of the highly popular podcast Esko Seppänen writes on Instagram Stories that Pesonen has had discussions with his former club JYP.
– Harri Pesonen and JYP are finding common ground for the upcoming seasons, unless something significant opens up from Switzerland, Seppänen reveals.
Pesonen currently represents the Swiss team SCL Tigers, but the club announced earlier in February that they will not offer the Finn a contract extension.
Pesonen was last seen at JYP during the 2011–12 season.
