Urheilucast: Ässät tries to grab Lukko’s powerhouse!
Urheilucast reports that Porin Ässät is interested in acquiring forward Steven Jandric, who left Rauman Lukko at the end of this season.
According to Esko Seppänen from Urheilucast, Jandric has a contract offer on the table from Porin, and a transfer to the neighboring club would not be a surprise.
– Jandric is currently staring eye to eye at a contract offer from that neighbor, namely Porin Ässät, sources tell Urheilucast. One should not be surprised if the enemy’s jersey changes to another – that is, yellow will change to red for the next season, Seppänen stated during the broadcast.
Lukko announced earlier this month about Jandric’s departure. The Canadian forward played in Rauma for two and a half seasons.
In the 2024–2025 season, Jandric was effective and recorded 60 games with stats of 21+24=45. However, in the recently concluded season, his scoring pace declined: in 58 games, he achieved stats of 9+13=22.
