U20 Finnish Championship series has a terrifying reinforcement from the Liiga!
JYP and Kiekko-Espoo will play the fifth quarter-final match of the U20 SM series on Tuesday starting at 5:00 PM. The match wins are tied at 2-2, so the winner on Tuesday will advance to the semi-finals.
JYP has received a tremendous reinforcement in their lineup. The player with the strongest performance in the league for the past two seasons, Santeri Huovila, will strengthen JYP’s U20 team. He will play on the wing of the team’s second line.
Huovila recorded 5+37=42 points in 33 regular season games in the league this season. JYP’s season ended on Monday against Pelicans in the opening round of the playoffs.
Defenders Roni Jokinen and Ossi-Veikka Vuontisvaara, who played in the league playoffs for JYP, are also in the lineup of JYP’s U20 team on Tuesday.
