TSN: A wild NHL trade rumor has dropped about Marc-Andre Fleury!
Three-time Stanley Cup champion Marc-André Fleury, 40, is being tempted to return to the rink.
TSN’s insider reporter Pierre LeBrun reports on X that NHL teams have been inquiring about the retired Canadian goaltender.
– It may not surprise anyone, but I heard that some teams have asked Marc-André Fleury if he has any desire to consider playing again. It’s also not surprising that teams suffering from a goaltending shortage want to explore all possibilities, LeBrun writes.
Fleury played 1,052 regular season games and 170 playoff games during his NHL career, representing the Pittsburgh Penguins, Vegas Golden Knights, Chicago Blackhawks, and Minnesota Wild.
Fleury officially ended his career at the end of September with the Penguins. He was last seen on the ice in a preseason game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
