The forwards Tinus Luc Koblar and Eskild Bakke Olsen, who won the World Championship bronze with Norway this spring, are moving to the NHL.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed a three-year entry-level contract with Koblar. The Ottawa Senators, on the other hand, have signed a one-year entry-level contract with Bakke Olsen.

Koblar, 18, was Toronto’s 2nd round pick (#64) last summer. He was Norway’s top scorer at the World Championship, recording 6+3 points in ten games. Last season, Koblar played in the SHL for Leksands IF, tallying 14 points (8+6) in 47 games.

The undrafted Bakke Olsen, 24, has played in three World Championships for Norway. In this year’s tournament, he scored 2+3 points in ten games. Bakke Olsen represented Linköping HC in the SHL last season, finishing with 32 points (11+21) in 51 games.
