The wild momentum of the Jokers continued! Now SaiPa got a beating.

Jokerit has been in strong form during the preseason. On Saturday, the Helsinki club won the Marski Cup preseason tournament.
In the decisive final of the tournament, Jokerit achieved a crushing victory over SaiPa. The final score was 7-1 in favor of the jokers.
The resolution of the final match came quickly. Jokerit fired in four goals right in the opening period of the game.
A thorn in SaiPa’s side was Alexander Forslund. The forward, who made a strong impact in Mestis, recorded 1+3 points.
Before the start of the Liiga season, Jokerit still has two preseason matches ahead. First, they will face Tappara at home, followed by TPS away.
Jokerit will begin their Liiga season on Tuesday, September 1, with an away game against Vaasan Sport.
